BEAUTIFUL, but. suitable for iron

This iron is super! A little heavy for a small iron but I like it. This factor can affect someone else. The biggest problem is the position of the button. In 3 days I changed the temperature or turned it off at least a dozen times. It's in a terrible place. Hopefully the thin fabric won't be ruined by this design flaw. When it arrived the box was badly dented and had a hole in it. When unpacking I noticed a few scratches, the plug was not closed and there were scratches on it, as if it had been

Excellent iron, BUT - iron

Has any of the reviewers actually used this iron? After reading many reviews I chose this iron for the great steam, powerful power, long cord and yes, the pretty color. All of this is great, but no one mentioned the poorly placed mode button. When grasping the handle and ironing, you can hardly avoid pressing the mode button with the palm of your hand. As a quilter I need the cotton setting but I accidentally found I changed it to Linen (too hot) or Nylon (too cool) or off. The mode selection…

Died after 3 months of fire hazard

I really liked this iron when it first came out. Such a nice iron. It was a good weight, heated up quickly and vaped very efficiently. It has made it so easy for me to work on all my sewing projects. Today, after 3 months of use, it suddenly started burning. Despite being on the cotton setting the whole time, it suddenly overheated and burned my ironing board. When I tried to pick it up, the soleplate detached from the iron and started releasing thick black smoke. I had to quickly unplug it and

Went in the trash

Seems to work fine but I just got it and have only used it once so far. I'm disappointed that you can only get vapor in cotton/linen mode. Nice long cord. Does not heat up very quickly and takes a long time to cool down from cotton/linen to silk/nylon. No polyester or synthetic. There is no off button. I like the digital display. UPDATE: I've used it twice and on the third try it doesn't heat up at all. When I poured water in, the water spread over my ironing board and floor. I didn't drop it…

Iron is useless. good for iron

I got this iron as a gift. It doesn't heat enough. I had to flip it from cotton to almost linen to smooth out the creases in the sheer polyester curtains. Therefore, of course, the linen setting was not hot enough for either cotton or linen clothing. I was hoping the specific iron was just "lemon". I didn't have the gift receipt so I ordered and paid for the same iron and sent the original back for a refund. The second iron is just as bad, if not worse. The steam is unstable and I have to…

The mode button is a bit problematic

As a seamstress and quilter, I like the fact that the cord is very long and the iron stays on for 30 minutes before turning off. It's a good weight and makes sense. I don't use a pair so I can't comment. The cable is well placed and designed. The problem lies in the mode button that toggles between heat settings and starts the heat when plugged in. It clicks at the slightest touch of your hand, requiring you to hold the iron low. Also, the mode button gets stuck every day and I peel it off with

My iron arrived today. I was looking forward to it because I had to do a lot of ironing. My iron arrived in its own box. Not in another box, oh no. They just shipped it right in their box. I previously received a vial of vitamins in a box from Revain. I marvel at the wisdom of the decision to send an item with fine controls ironing the items I sew and sometimes these items are thin fabric. Looks like he got kicked off the Heinz Stadium 50 yard line. The tip of the iron is bent back at least 30…

My favourite colour! best irons and steam irons

honestly i bought this iron because of the color. It fits in my kitchen and I love it. My Rowenta needed a repair/replacement part and I needed something to fill the gap. This is a mid-range iron, but it has some great features and works well. I really like that the cable is so long. If I want to hook it up to the iron on my bathroom desk very quickly, there's enough cord to do that without the added danger or inconvenience of an extension cord. The display is LED, not a dial, so it's very easy

Fantastic iron just one feature missing

I am a sewing enthusiast and bought this iron mainly because I was interested in the lace design. It doesn't disappoint. With this iron you can achieve very sharp, crisp creases and easily get into tight corners and edges. I like the design very much. It also starts high enough on the iron that you don't risk burning the cord if it wraps around the base of the iron. Other features are about what I would expect from most irons. It has a decent enough water tank (not too different from my…
