Only one DVD left in my pack of 15 discs and so far ALL have burned and worked perfectly. I've had minor issues with Memorex DVD-DL discs in the past, but I believe it's more than likely due to my portable DVD burner becoming worn out/failing. After purchasing the Samsung USB 2.0 External Optical Drive SE-S084D/TSBS Super WriteMaster, Slim External DVD Writer (Gloss Black), I had almost no problems burning DVDs. As I mentioned earlier, with this stack of blank DVDs, it's been perfectly 14x14 so far with no playback issues. Apparently, they work well for some people and not at all for others. This can be related to the content being recorded, the hardware that is burning the discs (and the speed at which they are written), and/or the software used to burn the discs. If all of those discs were truly defective I probably would have encountered a bad batch but I can't say I got them. However, I cannot recommend these drives to everyone as I know others have so many problems with them, but if you take the risk and they end up working for you, this is a good and economical option. Much luck!
