Not as good as I thought

I bought this blender just to make smoothies. Production takes longer than necessary. Breaking ice is hard work. The blades often simply spin and push things aside without shredding or mixing them. I made a frappe, the bottom came off and the contents spilled everywhere. Very disappointed in performance, especially for the price. Not recommended.
