My first sewing machine was a Brother SQ9185 with a wide table. I recently bought a Brother ST150HDH which does not include a side table. On many occasions when I visited the Brother website I thought my only option was to go to an authorized dealer who is not very close or very convenient. Imagine my surprise as I look at the sewing machine. furniture and saw this side table. I quickly ordered even though there were no reviews. I try to avoid products without reviews but it was necessary to keep my sanity. In the YouTube video, so many get by without an extension table. Why can not I? So, For example, I sew bulky and large items, a soft sewing machine cover, a 54-inch ironing board cover, and a fall raincoat that I threw away because my new Strong and Tough sewing machine didn't have an extension table. I sewed little things like some masks. But for smaller projects I still have the SQ9185. I also really missed the ruler on the side table. I didn't know how many times I've avoided plastic 12 inch rulers within reach of my sewing machine. The side table ruler is 16 inches, which is much more convenient for large projects. The model number of this side table is SAWT5. It feels very solid compared to the wide table of my SQ9185. Both are plastic but this SAWT5 is a solid addition to a strong and sturdy sewing machine.
