A friend gave me a similar pair of shoes when my child was just learning to walk and they were the only ones she happily wore. I bought these when I needed a size up and found them to work great. The Velcro closure makes it easy to put on and take off and keeps your feet secure while you run. They also seem comfortable - she doesn't complain in them, and even without shoes, they don't leave marks on her feet.
