Good quality PETG tubing, bends well and is easy to process. I used the EK kit for 90⁰ and 45⁰ bows with a blow dryer. I used both a pipe cutter and a 10/12mm hole bit to get the right length. The tubing is stiff enough not to bend if you use a silicone or rubber insert, but soft enough not to crack like acrylics; This is probably where you want to start if you are new to custom loops. If you're using a colored coolant and want the brightest build, this tube will show color well, but the exterior shine isn't as bright or shiny. like you might get with acrylic or glass tubing, but it works fine for what I wanted. In my picture above is the EK Cloud White Premix included with coolant in it. It's not very bright but reflects well enough if you have decent LED brightness.
