There are no questions about the lamp itself, only the installation. Judging by the curved neck, it really needs to be fixed to a table or wall or it'll keep tipping over. I wanted to avoid drilling holes in the wall so read other customers advice on using heavy duty Velcro/3M tape. It didn't work because the back is essentially open, just a small clip to attach (not a solid piece) so there was nothing to stick the velcro to. Thus it appears to oscillate relative to the mounting surface. But I like the looks and the brightness.
