UPDATE - upvoted as after receiving an email they offered some troubleshooting tips and when they didn't worked, send a new set of lights :-) The lights are super sticky and very bright for a running thread and are app and remote responsive. However, after hanging, one of the strands stopped working properly after about 2 hours. They first worked when hung, and then one strand for the colors associated with the green part began to fade, while pure blue and red work, anything mixed with green no longer works. I've emailed what comes with the box and will update once I get a reply. Since there has been so much positive feedback, I wanted to warn others, although I hope this is just a rare issue that they will resolve. I'm a little worried about all the paint peeling off if I have to take it off to replace - definitely a good adhesive so make sure you put it where you want it as it won't peel easily lets move once it's glued on. !
