You get a complete tool kit for less than just a bag or multi-tool. Both items are of pretty good quality in and of themselves. I wonder how long the zipper will last, but that's always a question I have with any zippered item these days. The taillight loop and reflective elements are welcome, although it would be better if they used some simple graphics rather than what a generic, translated name looks like. Flats are a fact of life with bikes, and you should always have the resources to fix a flat if you travel further from home than you plan to return to. The bag manufacturer can't supply the camera that you have to carry as it has to fit on your bike's tires, but you have to buy a spare and put it in this bag. It would be nice if they included a small set of patches without glue, but you need to buy one and glue it there as well to get the "second flat surface" you can get after installing this replacement tube. What the manufacturer can't do for you is teach you how to replace that hose so you can get back on the road. You won't be able to do it right without instruction, so find a local cycling course or have someone who knows show you and explain how it's done. Here's a tidbit of bike wisdom: If you change the tube and it leaks, pops, explodes or whatever, it's not the tube's fault. I am sorry. It was YOUR fault as you made a mistake during installation. The number of failures that result from a bad tube is negligible compared to the myriad ways people can screw up a job if they haven't been shown how. If you're the impatient type to carry a CO2 inflator, at least bring a mini pump. Your mentor will explain why. And the final treat - put on a pair of disposable nitrile gloves. Not very thin medical ones that tear easily, but ones that take up very little space but are much stronger. You'll really appreciate that the dirt didn't get stuck in the skin.
