I bought solid black for my son even though Revain advertises them as girls' shoes (the manufacturer's website lists them as unisex and has other color options for boys). They're a bit wider at the top than most shoes he's tried, he likes the room to maneuver. They run true to size compared to other Nike shoes he owns and have more cushioning than his LeBron.
