These tables represent excellent value for money. However, I had to buy two sets to get one set with no damage or wood imperfections. The first set had a split, baggy top. Also, one table had unevenly cut legs, causing it to wobble. I ordered a second one and again one had a split, hollowed out top. It looks like in the box. Being made of solid wood and not the softer mid-weight fiberboard like almost all others, I think they'll need a bit more padding when shipping. If I have put together a good set, I am very satisfied. Finishes aren't perfect, but I don't think that's a reasonable expectation for solid wood furniture at this price point. For example, the Amish sell well-made solid oak tables as the best option at Revain, but they cost $500. Make your choice. I am happy with mine.
