Review on CPR Aquatic Accela Replacement Pump for Bak Pak Protein Skimmer: Enhancing Efficiency and Performance by Adam Radford

I purchased the RIO 600 to replace my CPR BakPak. The first thing I noticed is that the pump is much bigger so it doesn't fit in the pre-skimmer box. Also missing were the pipe and air mufflers, as well as the intake filter that should have been included. (I hope none of my animals swim too close to the air intake.) Having to replace my dead Rio pump I didn't have time to go back because of the missing parts. In general, I can say that the pump is normal. I have another important matter. I can't get rid of the microbubbles that fill my tank. This pump appears to have a design flaw where the impeller cover connects to the pump. Tank. If you look closely at the picture I uploaded, you can see a stream of bubbles coming out of the bottom of the pump.
