I wanted a new bag after my previous one had been used for at least two years. I have a small 13 inch laptop that fits in easily. I also put my Kindle Fire in my tablet case. Inside are two small pockets, although there's definitely room for more. During class, I put my power bank in one and my phone in the other. A pass-through phone charger will slow down charging speeds, so I don't recommend using it, although it's a good idea. There are two "small" zippered pockets on the front outside of the backpack. One of these is actually too big and goes completely behind the other zipped pocket at the bottom, so I rarely stuff anything in it, maybe a pack of extra chewing gum or my headphones, which fold up. The bottom zip pocket fits my phone and laptop charger. There's also a neat zip pocket that uses the straps to stash things you don't want anyone to find. Overall I am very happy with the bag. I deducted a star because of the inside and outside pocket situation.
