Here in Louisiana, winter boots are rarely needed—perhaps once every five years. We're hoping to go on holiday though, so this will come in handy (fingers crossed). I grew up in the Northeast and did a lot of snowshoeing. I wish I had these! Wow! It is wonderful. The construction is phenomenal. They protect little feet so well from cold and icy water. The tread is ideal for traction on slippery surfaces. They are easy to put on and take off, even with cold fingers. Although the price of children's shoes is high, if you live in a cold climate, they are worth every penny.
