I bought this for our "Cray Cat" Roscoe (it's the little orange cat in the photos). He has been on chemotherapy for almost 2 years now and is getting a little weaker over time. He sleeps on our heated floors so I know he's always cold. As soon as this bed fell to the ground, cats were in it. I'm glad I bought the larger size because Rosco loves to sleep with at least one of the other 6 cats in the house (although sometimes I see him doing everything himself). I've seen other reviews that they bought some beds and lined them up and am considering buying another one so Roscoe always has room - the large bed is still not big enough for 3 large cats - although they try to to make it work. I've left the bed plugged in since I got it (about 6 weeks now) and haven't had any issues with it. It's easy to vacuum - the faux fur is quite slippery so cat hair comes out easily. I make the same recommendation as the others - if you have a home for multiple cats, buy more than one of these beds, your cats will love it!
