Review on 💻 High Speed USB Parallel Adapter - Gear Head CA2550 by Jennings Ford

I have an HP LaserJet 6p and it works just as well as the day I took it out of the box (circa 2000). This cable allows you to use your printer as a USB printer connected to any device that supports USB printers. If your operating system or device does not support or allow printing with a genuine HP LaserJet 6p driver, just use the HP PCL 5 universal driver. It works great. In my setup, I connected it to my Synology NAS DS213j and streamed it to my network, which enabled Airprint and Google Cloud Print. Now I can print to this printer from anywhere and from any device, even when I'm not at home. Not bad for a 13 year old printer. Worth a small investment. The cable is a higher quality/strength than I expected and the end of the Centronic is no larger than a typical parallel Centronic so it still fits in the port door of an HP LaserJet or other printer.
