We are using this device to connect a Zebra parallel thermal barcode label printer to a USB port. This is the third install and it worked great in any case. First install was on XP now upgraded to Win 7. Second install was straight to Win 7 and now last install was on a new Win 8.1 machine. No drivers were required when installing Win 7 or Win 8.1.
