I really like this case, but it is not without flaws. You need to decide whether this case is right for you based on your desires. I like this case because you can easily plug in the switch as long as it's plugged in. The case looks very nice on the Switch, and the silicone joystick covers fit well and are snug. As noted by other reviewers, this case does not protect against heavy drops. The downside of a case that fits into the dock even when attached is that it's very thin plastic. It protects against scratches, abrasions and bumps. This case also gives you access to all buttons, port and kickstand. One issue to consider is that the mounted joystick covers no longer fit the controller mount that came with the switch. The padding makes them too thick to slide into the nozzle. I found that removing these covers from the joycons is not easy at all either. They fit well and don't slip, which I like. So again choose what you want the case to do. Moreover, you will face the same problem even with Nintendo branded joycon covers. You can purchase a couple of triangular screwdrivers to disassemble the switch control attachment, which will free the center attachment section from the grips and back panel. This allows you to attach the joycons to the center section with the lids, but you don't get handles. This change is reversible if you don't like it, and there are plenty of YouTube videos showing the simple process (remove about 8 screws and you're done). Finally, the screen protector is nice and thick, but didn't have a cutout for the small camera on the front of the Switch, as shown in the picture. It's a clear protector, so I'm not sure if it's that big of a deal, but it's worth mentioning. I had a screen protector that I ordered earlier that had a cut out and a better fit for the app, so I went with that. Even with a different brand screen protector, it still fits in the case and dock. Pros + Looks great + Resistant to scratches, scrapes, and bumps + Seamless docking without having to take anything off + Joycon cases feel great and offer really great protection Cons - Joycons don't fit the Switch controller mount with the Covers and the covers are difficult to remove. A minor thing, but the protective film has no cutout for the camera. and my purchase). I have already recommended it to friends.
