We used these different brand mouth swabs when my little girl was 3 months old but recently switched to this brand as they were cheaper. They're just as good as the more expensive ones - we can't tell any difference. We started using tampons because of the white film that collected on her tongue after breastfeeding. It took it away without scratching her mouth and gums. Now my baby is 7 months old and she has her first teeth. We still use them to clean her mouth, gums and even her new little gummies. We only use them with water, but you can use them with toothpaste if you like. We also really like that they're individually wrapped and disposable, which feels a lot more hygienic. Our girl likes it when her mouth is cleaned and her teeth are cleaned. It was good to start early so she could get used to the process after breakfast and before bed after her last meal. Highly recommended!
