I really liked these containers. We use them for gelatin party shots. They're strong, holding 2 ounces (more than enough for one shot), but some of the lids are difficult to open. Out of the 150 I used, about 25 didn't fit properly on the top. Finally I put the tops on and used needle nose pliers to grab the lid and slide it over the rim of the cup. I give these containers the benefit of the doubt because the hot gelatin may have deformed some of the containers making the lids stiffer. I don't think I'll be using them for recording in the future. Medicine cups made from wax-coated paper are better because they can be crushed and the gelatin will be squeezed out.
