Both my boys love it. After that we bought 2 more different sets. An 11-year-old can assemble almost all of it by himself - he lacked finger strength for a few steps. A 7 year old can do about 30% of the steps on his own and I do the rest while he 'watches' and reviews my work, but he still loves it and is mesmerized by the end results. easy if you pay close attention. Tricky Steps has QR codes that link to videos demonstrating assembly. Some steps require strong thumb pressure. Be careful not to break the pieces, but the few we did break (always very small ones) usually have extra pieces or can be used with some glue. I was apprehensive about this product before purchasing and was hesitant after reading some of the complaints, but we love it so much that I really want to give a positive review.
