I got this to circulate some air around a PC that's under a table (so the air around it doesn't circulate as much). If I run this at any setting, even the lowest, you get a very noticeable hum because this thing is vibrating faster than an excited molecule. This is on the lowest level. Amplify it to create vibrations that can help you travel between dimensions. It's no big deal: if you put it on a surface that's less prone to transmitting vibrations (e.g. a hard stone table), you should be fine. Or if you just don't care about the constant buzzing of some angry molecules. It just sits on an earthquake spatula and is pretty quiet (although you'll know it's on when the room is quiet). I use it for cooling instead of this PC as it moves the air really well. If you just need something small/portable to move air, that's great. You can tilt it for a horizontal access to guide it better. It is very light and small, so you can take it anywhere. Definitely worth it. If you want it to be very quiet, you can try dampening.
