My workplace is all about screen real estate. You should see my screen in the background of one of the photos. I decided to buy a portable monitor because I'm going somewhere this summer where I don't have access to a similar setup. In fact, working on a single laptop screen, while doable, will hamper my productivity. I take both work and personal laptops with me. The worker is pretty locked down and adding third-party drivers is generally not allowed. My requirements for setting up a portable monitor were as follows: 1. Plug and Play - absolutely no additional software required.2. No sticking/sticking of anything to my laptops.3. Minimize the difference in screen sizes. The screen size of my two laptops is 15.6 inches. I came across the BAG via a YouTube video. Turns out they had their own set of requirements for a potential buyer. This setting only works with some laptops. Please read this list! Both of mine were on it: ASUS ZenBook and HP ZBook. My experience was much better than expected. I've been experimenting with configurations and haven't used anything other than these monitors for extra space for the past week. Pros: * These monitors work with both of my laptops. One worked with both USB-C ports, while the other was a combination of USB-C and HDMI.* Screens are bright and sharp. Brightness is adjustable to suit your needs.* Lighter than other options. That works out to just under 3 pounds (I weighed it on a kitchen scale). I've seen many other 3 screen monitors weighing 4 pounds or more.* Customizable. Mostly I've hung monitors on the lid of my laptop, but I've tested a few other configurations (see photos). * Reasonable price for what I got. Some of these triple screen monitors can be very expensive.* 1 year warranty. I hope I never have to use it. Cons: * Foldable design always leaves one screen open. FOCA provided screen protectors, but I thought a laptop case would work better.* There is no locking mechanism to hold screens in place when hung on a laptop lid. I don't plan on carrying it with the laptop lid open, but I would like to be able to move the laptop around without ripping off one side or the other.
