Nice little diaper bag.

There are definitely a few things we like about this petunia offering and a few things we don't like. What we like: - The design is very nice. Beautiful inside and out. The materials are quite nice and the exterior looks like it picks up dirt and moisture easily and is also easy to clean. We like that the wet storage closes with magnets rather than zips as this means it's easy to open and close and some of the moisture from the top evaporates more easily. I don't know why a lot of people don't - Easy access to bottles on the sides. What we didn't like: - Surprisingly few pockets for a diaper bag. This is a really confusing choice as parents end up stuffing quite a lot of stuff into it. You can really cramme something into it, but everything is fine with the organization. - Overall small. To make matters worse, the main compartment's zipper is on the front of the bag and doesn't reach all the way up. So you feel like you've lost space. Combined with only two inner pockets, this bag shows some of its weaknesses. The laptop bag is confusing. There is a nicely padded laptop/tablet compartment with its own zip closure. However, the bottom of the laptop sleeve opens into the bottom of the main compartment, so if something spills into the bag, it also spills into the laptop. Another mysterious design decision: - Narrow straps without lining. When you carry a lot of weight, it becomes uncomfortable very quickly. At least the bag is small so you're less likely to stuff it full. - No seat belts? It says directly on the bag that you can carry a stroller, but the straps are sold separately. Come on guys, almost every other diaper bag I've tested has them. All in all I would do without this as a diaper bag. It's pretty and might fit in a student's day bag, but I wouldn't choose it as a diaper bag, especially at this price point. However, it is very stylish and has the standard PPB quality so it will last a long time.
