I got this to help with my weight training program. I have noticed my grip giving out before my target muscle so I needed something to help me keep the weight in my hand. These straps do just that. The straps are made of a very thick leather and are double stitched all around. I have noticed though that after just a couple of months of use that some of the threads are already beginning to fray. Another thing to note about these is that they are stiff! This may be good or bad for u but for me it’s bad. They are a bit rough on the skin and have caused some friction burn on my wrists and hands.
