These lights were purchased with the intention of improving the environment around our RV. They give some light to the camper fairing but don't illuminate the room, but that's not what I bought them for and they weren't designed for that. I unpacked the devices and put them in the sun to charge. There is a button on the back that allows you to select the lighting mode: on or blinking. They work well and since they are on small flexible threads you can wear them on almost anything or place them anywhere as long as the bases can be charged by sunlight. I had a small issue with a unit that was shipped to me with no screws holding the two halves of the base together. The seller responded quickly and solved the problem. I've only had them for a few weeks so can't comment on durability. So far I am satisfied and will buy again. My mom and sister talk about creating fairy gardens. I will probably buy more for them to light up their gardens.
