So I noticed it's very accurate AFTER you step on it the first time. It's always exactly 1lb more than the first time I step on it to get my weight. When I go, it says a C, which presumably means it's being calibrated. Then when it reads 0.0 I step on it again and it's always 1 pound less than the first time. Then every time I step on it, it's exactly the same weight as the previous time. So the accuracy is quite high. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Although you could probably kick him and wait for him to say 0,0, you should be fine. But I just have a habit of waiting for it to calibrate to turn on Bluetooth so it doesn't record the first weigh-in. And that suits me. I love it! I'm glad I bought it and I will buy it again! It is very easy to read, unlike my old one. And I easily connected it to my Fitbit app. And because my Weight Watchers app is connected to my Fitbit app, it tracks my weight across all three apps (including the FitDays scale app). Very happy!
