I recently purchased this cover to replace the previous one. I cut holes in them and used flex tape to keep them from tearing. I had no idea how much this material would stick to the edges of the tape. There was sticky stuff on the luggage rack and in the trunk. So for this cover I had to buy a set of 1 7/8 inch plastic curtain grommets so I could put them over the flagpoles and flags during the opening. If anyone needs larger sockets, the popular search engine feature should return some results for plastic sockets. The fit is pretty good. Not as big as I thought. I like to tuck the leading edge under the front bottom tabs on the front panel as well as around the edges of the leg panel. This one probably won't stay on the leg panel if it's windy. No big deal, the main purpose I wanted the cover for was to protect my skin from UV rays and the dashboard while parked outside at work during the day. And to keep the seat dry if it rains while sitting. Fits nicely around and under the rear rack and has two elastic loops on each side that match the pins I have on the front bars pretty well. And the far back hinges match the passenger floorboards. Should keep it in good and secure condition and keep it in the wind while sitting. You need to see how the front end behaves in a windy situation. In these photos, the windshield is set to its minimum position. Unfortunately, the two plastic eyelets that came with it weren't big enough for my use. But they fit easily on an antenna mounted on a different model. I unscrewed my flagpoles from their base and lined up the cover fully assembled on the bike. And he has set his standards. Then measure them with well calibrated eyeball measurements and cut out the centers. Slide the smaller ring to one side, then the larger to the other side and they just snap into place. The same procedure as the instructions that came with the cap says smaller grommets when using them if they have an antenna. The cover has a base of elastic cord at an edge seam of a cover. Installation is quick and, at least on this model of motorcycle, does not come in contact with the exhaust pipes or the heat shield. I will give maximum marks for the features and initial picks and edit as necessary. in the future. But after unpacking it feels good, no damage and the quality seems good.
