Batteries run out quickly

** Save money! ** I was happy with the rechargeable flashlights and remote control. With the brightest setting, you can turn off the good light. I have twice set the timer to 1 hour on the darkest setting when the batteries die so they have to be charged after each use which is pointless. I'd rather have battery powered lights that last longer. One of the lanterns caught fire in the middle of the night without knowing what it was. I'd love to return it but I threw away the original packaging so I'm sticking with it.
