sports shoes? They have very good soles! Interesting treads that emphasize key points on the sole of the foot like the heel and toes! All this ensures excellent traction! It mentions a wider toe box, which is well and good. BUT I was looking for a size 8.5 and the only size information they have is '42', I don't know what it is but when I wear them I can't help but feel that they are are too big. I think they are more like a size 9. That's really the only negative. They are easy to put on with an elastic drawstring that tightens with a clasp, keeping the shoes snug! I think if the size is right they would be good for training. I give this 4 stars out of 5.
