I've really wanted to try navy blue/navy hair color for a long time but I never like dying my hair because I'm afraid of damage so I always get my hair braided and this color was the one Hammer. It's so gorgeous, and even with no extra lights in the photo, it's still a lovely, dark but rich shade of blue. For all my navy blue lovers, this is the best blue hair color I have ever seen. Now the actual hair was medium. It was soft but a little knotted. It took me about 12 packs for my full head but I have very thick hair. Braids didn't have the full look I usually get from other brands like xpression. So if that's what you value, I suggest buying extra bags and talking to your stylist so they know. The ends don't fall well, but I've worn these braids for several months (longer than I should have, lol) and they've never unraveled. All in all it was a good purchase and I will buy it again in the future if I go to Blau again. 💙
