Great Stuff. It's very easy. The leash is only about 3 feet long so you don't feel like tripping over people when you let your child run around. The part that goes on the baby is a slip knot of sorts. My 2.5 year old was able to figure out how to get his wrist out but it took a while and he had to sit up to do it. It was fairly comfortable and certainly not nearly as hot as wearing one of the backpack's straps. He has it, but when we tested it before the trip he kept complaining about being hot and stuck in it. It's just a piece of cloth on your wrist. If I were to suggest changing anything, I would say making the material that wraps around the child's wrist smoother, maybe covering it with cotton. We could leave it to him if he's in a wheelchair. He felt like he was the one showing me around more than anything. We mainly used it as a backup. I still held his hand, but if his hand got tired or he slipped out of my hand, we could fall back on that. So glad we used it!
