Broken cap on heaters

I finally got mine and was so excited to get it. I opened it and the lid cracked. When I took it out, pieces of plastic from the lid fell on me and I felt embarrassed. I turned it over and saw that it was broken. I mean I'm a little mad about it because it was an expensive heater. It still works, but if you're buying something this expensive, everything should be in perfect condition.
