Review on πŸ’§ Dri-Z-Air DZA-60 60-Ounce Refill Crystals: Efficient Moisture Absorbent Solution by Lisa Fernandez

Great product but overpriced

The product itself is great and works well. I use Dry-Z-Air wherever I need a dehumidifier. My question relates to the price. It's just granules of calcium chloride. If you buy them as a desiccant, it costs $3-$5 per pound, like this product. If you buy it as Snow & Ice Melt, it's $1 a pound. I personally bought a Β£50 Ice Melt product from Amazon for $50 with free shipping included. This was the one although now it has a different price but I'm sure you can find others. http://www.amazon.com/Excel-Snow-Ice-Melt-bucket/dp/B008OE55M2/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1415449191&sr=8-14&keywords=ice+meltCalcium chloride granules for ice melting Granule size and quality Dry-Z -Air (because they are chemically the same and as far as I know they might even be made in the same factory). They also do not differ in terms of performance. I spent about $8 a month on my 2 Dry-Z-Airs in my RV. Now I'm spending $2 a month. Again, I like Dry-Z-Air but I don't like the price they charge. I hope this information saves you hundreds.
