UPDATE to say the heat is better now that I've used it a few times. I had one of those medium sized mason jars that I kept old used and melted wax in. When I went to use the jar I figured it would take forever for the wax to melt enough to drain. nope It took about 35 minutes and the once solid wax had completely liquefied throughout the 5 or 6 inch tall jar. (Due to the short cord I only use it as a wax melting plate. Doesn't need to be moved.) If there wasn't 1 downside it would be 4+ stars. BENEFITS - Good size for small desks/workspaces. ; Easy to use; has a bright LED for on / off; and it's actually getting pretty warm. CONS - Short cord. I've already made a big mess moving the burner slightly and forgetting how short the cord was. GENERAL - I can't be angry. For the price (less than $11 even with taxes) I got something that can be used for multiple purposes. I use this for my coffee/tea as well as heating flavored waxes and heating vape juice bottles for steeping. I've seen similar items under $25 and I was cheap so can't complain. If it lasts 6 months I'll be happy with what I paid.
