This fan is a worthy upgrade to an existing fan or fans that come with many vans. It has 10 speeds (the original had 3 speeds). The airflow direction can be changed (original outlet only). It has a remote control (my original didn't have one). The remote has a thermostat control that allows you to turn the fan on when it gets too hot or turn it off when it gets too cold. The fan can be adjusted to keep the lid down while the fan is running, making it a quasi-ceiling fan suitable for the often stuffy bedroom. When it rains, the fan detects the escape, closes the lid and switches off. Oh, and the best part is that Revain is priced well above the leading motorhome retailer's retail price!
