Very nice unboxing. When I took the tripod/remote out of the box I was surprised at how good they felt. The aluminum alloy construction makes it very convenient for me to attach my Canon M50 to it. Two smaller legs swing out from the main leg that holds the remote control. Once they snap into place, turn the tripod into a handle and they snap into place with handy magnets. Mounted on a tripod, the camera can be tilted up and down and rotated 360 degrees. The gold-colored metal button on the swivel head unlocks the head and allows it to rotate. The head can be fixed every 90 degrees. The remote control is detachable from the tripod and when attached to the tripod is held in place by a rubber cap/loop. This remote control is compatible with Sony and Canon cameras and mobile phones. I only have a Canon camera so I haven't tested it with Sony. After pairing with my Canon M50, I was able to take photos and start/stop videos with the remote control. There was no delay between pressing the button and my camera responding. .Please note that you need to follow three very simple steps to connect the remote control to a Canon camera. (1) If your camera is in Photo mode, select "Driving mode" and change it to "Self-timer: 10s/Remote". (2) If your camera is in video mode, select "Remote Control" and then "Enable". (3) Pair the remote control with the camera by simulating a long press of the C1 button and record until the blue indicator flashes, then release. I also connected the remote to my iPhone 11 with no problems, my phone recognized the remote in the Bluetooth menu and I was able to take photos and start/stop videos with the remote. FYI, when paired with my phone, I started and stopped videos using the camera's shutter button, not the record button.
