These cloths are best for cleaning silver. Easy to use and thoroughly clean silver. Buying 6 packs (2 fabrics each) together results in a lower price than a store pack. You still need to wear gloves, because the plaque removed from metal, like any other product, turns black. The difference is that with this product, less rubbing and working is required to achieve brilliant results. If your silver piece is starting to show signs of tarnishing, you can wipe it down with a soft cloth a few times between polishing to restore the shine.
