5 stars for design but 1 star for performance!

My younger kids have been playing roller derby since 2013 with a few breaks but all good things come to an end. So I bought these because they look close. The design is great! The price is great! But it took 3 hours to get them working as they should out of the box! The problem is the wheels - technically they don't roll at all. I doubt they actually have ABEC7 bearings. It's something cheap and mostly broken. Watch the video to see what I mean (unfortunately I'm not allowed to upload more than one video here, so I can't show another video comparing their bearings to real ABEC7 bearings which I then modify have). I had to take apart the old Kinder Roller Derby skates that I was about to throw in the trash to pull out the bearings (actively used by two kids 6+ years old!), these 'brand new' ones. Also, I found they have plastic bushings! You laugh? Plastic bushings in the wheel core, in the bearings? They break after a week or two of daily use of the skates. God thank you I kept those old RD skates so I her 6 year old bearings, steel bushings and even mounting bolts - yes, the bolts surprised me too: they are all different lengths, I measured them: from 32.2mm to 34.8mm (except for the brake rod which should be longer). So 5 stars for the design. I love the armored plastic toe cap, the eyelets for the laces, all those straps for fastening. But 1 star for the wheels. Hence 3 stars from me.
