Amazing Resin

This was the resin I used for the first time. I still use it today and prefer it. It's a forgiving resin. It is crystal clear and has a wonderful shine. It cures in 12-15 hours and fully cures in 24-36 hours depending on heat and humidity. Please note that this resin does not become super hard after curing. When exposed to heat, the resin can warp and warp. I followed the directions and my first project came out fine. but awesome. Since then I've been using a heat gun to get the bubbles out. Tips for Success: 1. Heat up this resin! I placed my resin (still in containers and sealed) in a tub of hot water. I let them warm up for about 15 minutes.2. Pour the hardener first. The resin portion of the two-component mix is slightly heavier. The addition of resin secondarily facilitates mixing3. Mix SLOWLY and DEFINITELY Resin is not an egg to shake. The faster you mix, the more air bubbles you will get.4. Mix for 3-5 minutes I use songs to keep track of time, listening to music is much more interesting than looking at the clock5. Pour into a second bowl and stir again. Use the heat gun to burst the bubbles7. Pour slowly and in layers. Pour, heat gun, fill with a thermal gun.8. If you add ink, make sure it's not oil based. It doesn't mix either. Watch your working hours. As you go over it the resin will start to harden and become wobbly, sticky and weird. I prefer to use this for casting rather than coating. It does not level as well as coating resin and is slightly thinner than coating resin. I prefer to use this for casting rather than coating.
