My cat could not be held or petted without biting. She was so excited that she relieved her stress by running up and down the corridor from BR to the cave. I felt so bad for her. Played Fishing for hours every day just to help her release accumulated stress and energy. After moving to a new city, I took her to a new vet to get her vaccinations up to date. a practice dedicated exclusively to cats. As soon as I walked in my cat was calm, let's pet her, let the vet check her teeth - all without a hint of aggression. That's when I noticed that there are Feliways in every sales outlet. Wow. I got home and immediately ordered 8 atomizers for the living room/dining room, kitchen and BR. Have a few in larger rooms. Bless her heart, she's finally close to being a normal cat. She still doesn't like being held for long periods of time, but at least she doesn't try to bite me when I pet her. Worth every penny just to see how she could finally relax.
