Terrible smell is best for sheets and pillowcases
So these pillowcases look attractive (I bought red for my Christmas bed) and the fabric feels durable. HOWEVER - they have a stubborn chemical odor that is impossible to get rid of! I washed them 5 times in a row - yes, 5 times! And they still smell like chemicals. I even added vinegar to one of the dish soaps hoping it would get rid of the stench. I don't know how I could lay my head and face on those pillowcases. If you only need them for looks, they work. If you plan to sleep on it, you'll be breathing in the chemicals throughout the night.
