Charging performance works like any normal charging cable (does not charge quickly). I have a Samsung Galaxy Zfold 2 and this is the only type of mount that will hold my phone both folded and unfolded. However, this comes with several problems. First, the suction cup only sticks to surfaces like glass or windows. My dashboard has a porous surface so I'm very limited where I can do this. Given the review constraint, that means I couldn't use it. It holds tight where I can use it, but my hand isn't good at supporting the weight of my phone (although overall this phone is very heavy). When I put my phone in the holder, Does the base cover my side buttons and I can't use my volume controls (can't flip the phone or you can't charge it wirelessly). It comes with a vent mount that works great with my phone. It completely covers the ventilation opening and prevents my car from cooling down with a lot of air. Note that the bracket has a finite corner radius. Overall a good mount, but practically useless for my purposes. Now I have it at home as a mount to watch TV shows on my phone. Even then I have the same problems as when using it in my car. BIGGEST NOTE TO BUYERS: Make sure your car's dashboard can accommodate suction cups or that you have enough space for air vents.
