These do very well at preventing water from getting to my feet and making them all uncomfortable, hot, sweltering, etc, but they are not perfect for a couple of reasons. They do WAY. way better than any other pair of socks I have tried at keeping my feet dry but they are a bit susceptible to water coming over the top of them, where the uppermost part of the sock meets leg/foot. Other than that, they do an outstanding job at keeping me dry; super important because if you do not take care of your feet, you are likely to pay in a myriad of ways (and none of them are fun). These are the most costly socks I've ever owned and I very much think these are for a niche purpose.
