830 is valid! on Other office equipment

I bought 830 strip cuts, I am satisfied with the performance. Specs are all over the web, but this US model says 1275 watts at the rear, which is about 1.7 horsepower. For what I need a powerful grinder for, it works great. If a box fits my throat, I just pry it open and stuff it in. I can rip apart a large box by breaking it into a strip (tearing a glued piece), folding it in half, and inserting it inside. The engine will not stall. (The price has been reduced enough to allow me to use it on cardstock, not sure how that affects durability, but cardstock is paper I guess.) Heavy double corrugated boxes work great but don't fit , if I double them. The motor looks pretty good, almost like some kind of giant servo/stepper motor, the gearbox looks like it has giant gears inside. Still doesn't look as solid as the 411.2, lots of plastic but not sure how much metal. is inside. The 1/8" cardboard strips are pretty naughty, I fill up the container fairly quickly and a cross cut would probably be better, I have a 740 cross cut and will check it out. For general office use this would be great.
