I would like to preface this review by saying that I am autistic and very sensitive to the feel of materials. I was very happy to receive this blanket in the mail hoping it would solve my summer problem when it was too hot to sleep with a stack of blankets, but I couldn't sleep without the weight of a stack of blankets on me . Unfortunately the poor workmanship of this blanket means I have to look elsewhere. At first glance the blanket feels silky but is actually rough and itchy which is a sensory nightmare for me. You can also feel the beads in the quilt by gently running your hand over them. Not only that, the stitching is very poor in several places, so much so that I am concerned that over time they will tear and shift the beads. The only good thing I can say about this duvet is that the weight seems fairly evenly distributed, but due to the poor stitching I'm not sure how long it will last. I will be returning this blanket and looking elsewhere.
