Review on SVBONY Eyepiece Telescope Multi Coated Blackened by Kadarius Gentry

I bought this eyepiece to upgrade the standard eyepiece that came with my SkyWatcher 250p flex-tube Dobsonian. There are different eyepiece suppliers of the same type like Celestron, Orion, APM but SVBony is the cheapest. The main reason I thought was better eye relief and a wider field of view than a pleated shade. Since my telescope is a fast 4.7f telescope, I get off center coma from about 50%, but this is not a problem for my planetary and DSO observations. I tried the Celestron X-Cel LX 9mm before it was better for fast scopes but ended up returning it. For some reason this caused extra strain on my eyes…. For two nights I had great pleasure using the SVbony eyepiece to observe Saturn, Jupiter, the Dumbbell Nebula, Ring Nebula, Saturn and globular clusters and double stars. It's light, comfortable and of good quality. Plossl feels cramped and claustrophobic after this eyepiece. Good eyepiece, especially for the price.
