These are medium-weight cotton towels, about the same thickness as a standard paper towel. They are strong, soft, and absorbant. They don't shred or fall apart when wet, or leave lint when dry. They are safe to use on babies, children, or pets, and won't irritate skin.I've found these wipes to be quite versitile. In addition to their use as a drying towel, I've cut them into smaller pieces and used them to remove makeup or nail polish, or to apply toner. They are sturdy enough to be used as an impromptu washcloth. I also use them to wipe down the bars on my parrot cages where they have tossed food or poop. I especially like that they don't shred or leave any lint.
