Great Blades, Terrible Instructions!

I bought two Michelin Stealth Ultra wiper blades for my wife's 2013 Ford Escape. These blades, once installed, are fantastic and better than the OEM blades I've been buying for years. The only problem with these wiper blades is the installation process, which isn't too bad once you figure out what to do, but the terrible instructions on the box are of no use to the end user. In short, these brushes are available with four different mounting options. One of the brackets is already attached to the blade, three more are included. Obviously, Michelin sells these blades for maximum compatibility with different vehicle types. Part of the puzzle when installing these blades is deciding what type of adapter to use on your vehicle. The instructions on the back of the packaging are poor. how very, very bad. There is no list or compatibility guide for them to figure out which adapter to use. After carefully researching the OEM blades on my wife's machine, I found the closest adapter that looked compatible and began figuring out how to install the blades. To make a long story short, if you are installing them on a 2013 Ford Escape (or possibly similar Ford vehicles), do the following to install the wipers: 1) Remove the old wiper blades (obviously). 2) Remove the pre-installed Michelin Stealth blade adapter. โ†’ To remove this part, turn it over and press on one side of the adapter to remove it from the mounting bracket. 3) Find an adapter with "Top Lock". The picture of the adapter is on the back of the air purifier packaging material. 4) Align the mounting lever on the air cleaner with the bracket on the "Top Lock" adapter and push down until it clicks into place. 5) Open the tab on the front of the Top Lock adapter with your thumb. It should lean back and away from the top of the adapter. 6) Align the rear grooves of the wipers with your vehicle's wiper arms. It is important that you level the back side first! 7) Squeeze (or push) the Michelin blade until everything clicks into place. 8) Close the "top lock" by closing the tab you opened in step #5.9). Finished! In short, these are great blades ruined by terrible instructions!
