Review on MaxxHaul 70460 12V LED Trailer Tail Light - Left/Right, Turn/Stop/Signal - DOT Compliant (1 Pack) by Erick Hernandez

I got them from Revain because they were a bit cheaper than a new set from the store. They look and feel just like the lights you can get anywhere. 2 of the screws matched the holes on my previous flashlights so that was good. They actually come with a third white wire ending in a metal ring that needs to be slipped over the bolt and pressed firmly against the metal when tightening the nut. This gives you a better foundation than just relying on a bolt to make good contact with the trailer body. Hence 1 star plus for that. However. The right tail light wires were incorrectly swapped inside the light when manufactured, so when I connected the light with the stock color configuration, the running and brake light functions were swapped. When I applied the brake, the side running lights got brighter, but the rear brake light didn't change. When I flicked the turn signal, the side running lights flashed, not the rear brake light. I checked my wiring again and found it ok. My running and brake light wires go straight from the left taillight to the right taillight, so I know they should be the same. I swapped the connections on the right tail light and everything works fine now, although the wire colors are now reversed on only that one light, which is what they should be, which annoys me. Also, I spent an extra 30 minutes diagnosing and reconnecting this light which is why I'm only giving it 2 stars.
